Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi known as former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa and consoled him over the dying of his granddaughter on Friday.
Dr Soundarya (30), the grand-daughter of Yediyurappa, dedicated suicide by hanging at her flat in Bengaluru.
Household sources stated that the PM consoled Yediyurappa on his loss and requested him to not lose energy at this troublesome hour.
