New Delhi: The Central authorities on Friday appointed V Anantha Nageswaran because the Chief Financial Advisor.
Previous to this, Nageswaran has labored as a author, writer, trainer and advisor.
He has taught at a number of enterprise faculties and institutes of administration in India and in Singapore and has printed extensively.
He was additionally a part-time member of the Financial Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India from 2019 to 2021.
He was the Dean of the IFMR Graduate College of Enterprise and a distinguished Visiting Professor of Economics at Krea College.
He holds a Publish-Graduate Diploma in Administration from the Indian Institute of Administration, Ahmedabad, and a doctoral diploma from the College of Massachusetts in Amherst.
Nageswaran handed out with a Publish-Graduate Diploma in Administration from the Indian Institute of Administration, Ahmedabad in 1985.
He obtained a doctoral diploma in Finance from the College of Massachusetts in 1994 for his work on the empirical behaviour of alternate charges.
Between 1994 and 2004, he labored for Union Financial institution of Switzerland (now UBS) and for Credit score Suisse in Switzerland and in Singapore.
In July 2006, he joined Financial institution Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. in Singapore because the Head of Analysis for Asia. In March 2009, he was appointed because the Chief Funding Officer for the financial institution, and has been consulting, writing and instructing since July 2011.
Nageswaran has been an adjunct college with the Singapore Administration College and with the Wealth Administration Institute on the Nanyang Technological College, and is a co-founder and member of the Board of Administrators of NPS Worldwide College, Singapore.
He’s a member of the Board of Administrators of a number of firms in India, together with TVS Logistics and Aparajitha Company Providers (P) Restricted.
He was Dean, IFMR Graduate College of Enterprise (Krea College) from October 2018 to December 2019.
In October 2019, he was appointed as a part-time member to the Financial Advisory Council of the Prime Minister of India for a interval of two years.
He helped co-found Aavishkaar Enterprise Capital (Enterprise Capital Investor in Social Enterprises) and the Takshashila Establishment (a public coverage think-tank cum instructing institute). His co-authored books, ‘Economics of Derivatives’ and ‘Derivatives’ had been printed by the Cambridge College Press in March 2015 and October 2017 respectively. One other co-authored work, ‘Can India develop?’ has been printed by Carnegie Endowment for Worldwide Peace in November 2016.
His current guide, “The Rise of Finance: Causes, Penalties and Cures” has been printed in 2019 by Cambridge College Press.
