Mysuru: The Training Division has lodged a sexual assault case beneath Prevention of Youngsters from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in opposition to the headmaster of a college for kissing a woman pupil in H.D.Kote city of Karnataka’s Mysuru district, police mentioned on Saturday.
A video of the headmaster kissing the woman in his chamber on the college has gone viral on social media resulting in public outrage. Because the video went viral, villagers and college students have demanded motion in opposition to the accused headmaster. The video was shot by the scholars via a window. On realising that the act is being shot, the woman strikes away and the accused comes in direction of the window.
Primarily based on the complaints, the Block Training Officer (BEO) lodged a criticism of sexual assault on college woman by the headmaster and sought initiation of motion in opposition to the him.
The case has been registered on the H.D. Kote police station. The police mentioned that they’ve taken up the investigation of the case and are verifying the criticism. The accused trainer can be taken into custody for questioning.
