Hyderabad: The much-hyped, and much-postponed, S.S. Rajamouli movie ‘RRR’ is lastly being launched in theatres on March 25.
The makers of the magnum opus took to their social media handles on Monday to announce the discharge date.
That includes Telugu actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan within the lead roles, ‘RRR’ is being touted because the fictionalised story of two real-life unsung heroes, who fought for tribal rights. Ram Charan and Jr NTR respectively play Alluri Sitarama Raju, the chief of the Rampa Riot of 1922, and the Gond insurgent Komaram Bheem, who took on the Nizam of Hyderabad.
Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran additionally play important roles on this grand film, whose music has been scored by M.M. Keeravaani, the ‘Baahubali’ composer.
Along with Telugu and Tamil, the film shall be launched in Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
‘RRR’ was alleged to hit the screens in January, however the Covid-19 surge had pushed the makers to postpone the discharge. With the announcement of the discharge date, the movie’s promotions will begin over again.
