Hyderabad: An Indian Air Power (IAF) helicopter made an emergency touchdown in a village in Telangana’s Siddipet district on Wednesday.
The helicopter (ZA449) needed to land in fields at Jagadevpur village resulting from some technical snag. Each the pilots within the chopper have been protected.
The helicopter from Air Power Academy Hakimpet on the outskirts of Hyderabad was on a coaching sortie when it developed some technical glitch.
Police rushed to the spot and supplied safety as a lot of curious villagers had gathered closed to the chopper.
Alerted by the pilots, the official at Air Power Academy despatched one other helicopter to the emergency touchdown web site with technicians. After the restore, each the helicopters returned to the IAF Academy.
