New Delhi: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz joined others to pay tribute to India’s melody queen Lata Mangeshkar, who handed away on the age of 92, in heartfelt tweets, The Specific Tribune reported.
“With the demise of Lata Mangeshkar, the subcontinent has misplaced one of many actually nice singers the world has recognized. Listening to her songs has given a lot pleasure to so many individuals all around the world,” Khan stated in a tweet.
Maryam Nawaz expressed sorrow over the demise of the ‘Nighingale of India’, saying how there “gained’t be one other Lata”.
“Relaxation in peace, Melody Queen, Lata Mangeshkar… Your voice, songs and the feelings they evoked won’t ever die. There by no means can be one other Lata. Condolences to the household.”
