Not just a book by Saniya Inamdar but a healer to women’s heart. It is the story not limited to Panchaali but every lady out there.
Anyone who has been a sheer reader, this book will be your stress buster in some next level.! This book does tell the stories of the Gods that people believed in. It is quite nice to rediscover mythologies once more, it is a saga of Draupadi’s life and this mythology itself influencing the modern world’s mindset at the same level it did for some characters before. I am absolutely in love with this masterpiece – Panchali The Princess of Peace. I have heard alot more for this verse to be extraordinary. And now I felt the same. Each chapter of this book talk about a subject as you know, and gives you a really tiny brief information on Panchaali’s subject. so for example after reading this tremendous book you can tell myths from Indian culture and beliefs are your favorites and then you can research and find out more stuff about the saga of her life. How well author has explained the situation, modesty, circumstances, ampathy, and patience of the lady no one else but Draupadi herself.
This creation of Saniya Inamdar, covering all sense of musings and still so distilled about particulars. I am impressed to say that in era’s it would be remembered as one of the all. The brief summary that each chapter had the start and the cross referencing that could be used to jump to linking stories, allowing a more fluid of reading in your mind.
As the author is a woman, I have expected so much from the book that it will give a very new and refreshing perspective of the epic Mahabharata. The author has completely satisfied me with her awesome essence of that time. You can see from the author’s eyes of its female protagonists. She aptly observes throughout the narrations of these epic historical tales, the emotions and experiences of the females were often mentioned and elaborated. In this book, as you progress with the story, you experience the various shades of Draupadi’s character from the rebellious princess to the faithful wife to the mourning mother. The author through her vivid imagination, seamlessly takes you through the tale of Mahabharta from the point of view of Draupadi aka Panchali.
The references to her relationship with Krishna and the way she perceives his mischievous yet insightful conversations are specifically delightful and at the same time are also great philosophies.
A perfect author is who captures your soul while reading and Saniya Inamdar has done it with perfection at peak. While reading this I felt myself as Panchali and some energy as Krishna for me. For me it was personified journey of reading and this is the magic of this beyond the way book. I can’t imagine how someone can write this without being in that situation. It really needs a courage on fire. Modesty, Spirituality, drama, sagas, stories, outputs and alot of unfolded facts at the same time in one book. Really impressive.
*It’s not the content that enthralls but it’s the art of writer’s writing that captures you*
I have always been fan of Panchaali but now I am the fan of her dedications, regulations, dailogues, emerging souls, and distilled aura of the content in this masterpiece. It will clear your views and voices on Mahabharata. Without altering the original Story much, the author Has given the readers an insight into Draupdi’s mind and Heart… which is something that is really interesting to read. Reading the Written Part is so great, it feels like a well written poetry. Or you can say her style of expressing is like *Poetry in Motion* .
So, this is a book that has garnered love not only in state specific but also in whole india..and being a fan of mythological fiction/retellings, i wanted to read this and when one fine day I got the book in hand , i was overjoyed.
*Essence of reading lies in the joy of feeling the character*
Every book has some peculiarities that other same titles may not. I am saying this all my assertion for all other titles existing for Draupadi’s life. But i feel this is something that brings you aura of vedic period and exact portrayal of whole story. Bring it to get the crux of Panchaali.
I heartily suggest this phenomenal read to everyone reading this.
You are just missing something that you shouldn’t, so grab the awesome workpiece of renounced and leading face of Indian writing Saniya Inamdar.
