A two-match T20I series between India and Ireland will take place at The Village in Dublin. On Sunday, June 26 and Tuesday, June 28, the games will be played.
For the next white-ball matches, each club has selected its unique lineup. After successfully leading the Gujarat Titans to victory in the 2022 Indian Premier League, Hardik Pandya will take the helm of the Indian squad for the first time (IPL).
The Men in Blue’s five-match T20I series against South Africa was captained by Rishabh Pant, who has been given a day off. Rahul Tripathi, a right-handed batsman, also received his first call-up from India after excelling for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2022.
They include Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh, who were both unable to compete against the Proteas. Additionally, Sanju Samson has made it onto the national team.
Meanwhile, all-rounders Shane Getkate and Simi Singh are not playing for Andrew Balbirnie’s Ireland. For the next games, the hosts have called up right-handed hitter Stephen Doheny and fast bowler Conor Olphert.
Ireland has yet to defeat India in the shortest format, which is important to remember. India defeated Ireland in a T20I series there in 2018 by a score of 2-0.
