“We are aware of the threat posed by terrorism, extremism that supports terrorism, and radicalization. “The BRICS Initiative on Denying Corruption a Safe Haven is something we applaud. By enhancing anti-corruption exchanges and collaboration within global frameworks, we will further expand anti-corruption capacity building through educational and training initiatives. The inaugural BRICS Anti-Corruption Ministerial Meeting is welcomed” It read.
The major drug problem around the world was another issue brought up at the summit. “We appreciate the proactive role played by the BRICS Anti-Drug Working Group in strengthening global drug governance and countering transnational drug trafficking, and we will further deepen drug control cooperation,” the statement is recite.

In order to achieve a robust, sustained, balanced, and inclusive post-COVID economic recovery, it was said that “we reiterate our commitment to continuing to increase macro-economic policy coordination, expand economic practical cooperation, and work toward these goals.” In all pertinent ministerial tracks and working groups, “we emphasize the necessity of continuing execution of the Strategy for BRICS Economic Partnership 2025.”

“We welcome the decisions on admission of four new members to the NDB and look forward to further membership expansion in a gradual and balanced manner, comprising both developed and developing countries, to enhance the NDB’s international influence as well as the representation and voice of EMDCs in global governance,” the statement read.
The decision to launch the BRICS Think Tank Network for Finance is one we applaud. The statement said that we anticipate it to operate independently and offer intellectual support as needed for information exchange, the sharing of best practises and experiences, and collaboration on financial matters among the BRICS nations.
