Silver is retailing on the higher side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, while gold prices are trading on the lower side for the second consecutive day.
Gold futures with a maturity date of August 5, 2022, are currently trading at Rs 50,549 per 10 grammes, down a negligible Rs 18 (or 0.04%). The previous close was 50,594 rupees.
On the MCX, silver futures with a July 5, 2022, delivery date saw a similar increase of Rs 180 or 0.30 percent, retailing at Rs 59,513 a kg as opposed to the previous closing of Rs 59,504.
For large cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, the price for 10 kilos of 24-carat gold was Rs 51,820.
