Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan hailed PM Modi over the issue of corruption while slamming Nawaz Sharif for holding properties worth billions outside Pakistan.
Imran Khan, who used to be Pakistan’s prime minister, praised Narendra Modi again and compared him to the head of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Nawaz Sharif, on the issue of corruption.
Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister of Pakistan, was criticised by Khan for owning assets worth billions of dollars abroad. Khan made this remark when criticising Sharif.
Speaking to a crowd of people, Imran Khan said: “A nation won’t attract investors if it lacks the rule of law. When there is no respect for the law, corruption happens. Name one nation whose leader owns properties worth $1 billion or more abroad. How many properties does PM Modi own outside of India, even in our neighbouring country? ”
Imran Khan continued, “No one can conceive how many assets and properties Nawaz has abroad.”
Imran Khan, the prime minister of Pakistan, praised India’s foreign policy and claimed it “stands for its people.”
Khan, who was removed from office in April after failing to win a vote of confidence, had previously commended India for its independent foreign policy and for purchasing oil at a discount from Russia in response to pressure from the West.
