Nivedita Dang is from the Indian city of Ranchi. She earned her master’s degrees in zoology from Ranchi University in Ranchi and in journalism and mass communication from Birla Global University in Bhubaneswar. She is an author and has published four books named “The Confused Mind” by Bluerose Publishers, “What God taught me in 2021” by Writersgram Publications, “When it feels right” by Astitva Prakashan, and “The Essence of Life” by Bookleaf Publishing. She has also contributed to more than eight anthologies. Some of them are Rakshabandhan, the Unbreakable Bond by DJ Publication, From the Land of Diversity by Writers Corner Publication, and Roller Coaster of Emotions by The Divine Publications. Besides being a writer, she is also a song writer and composer with a Youtube channel named “Worship Warriors.” She has bagged several national and international awards for her work in writing. She is a prestigious member of the Indian Women’s History Museum (IWHM) and a proud goodwill ambassador of Prithvi Women
HerStory Times’ Climate Warrior. She is UGC NET qualified and intends to pursue a PhD in the future.
She used to scribble poetry on the backs of her school papers. Little did she know she would become an author one day. She considered what she wanted to do in the future while preparing for her job. During those times, she used to journal a lot. She would also write poems and stories. Her interest was sparked.
She enrolled in a Masters of Journalism and Mass Communication programme to expand her knowledge of the field. After completing her Masters, she joined a PR organisation in Digital Communications. She also used it to create content. So, making content in a creative way took some time, and finally she decided to take up writing as her full-time career.
